eFP – Dragoons Arrive At Orzysz In Poland

British vehicles deployed to Poland on eFP operations as part of BGPOL arrive at their Orzysz base [US Army: Georgios Moumoulidis]

The two converging NATO eFP (enhanced Forward Presence) convoys of Dragoons undertaking the near 1000km route march from Vilseck in Bavaria to Orzysz in northeast Poland have now arrived at their operating base.

The multinational NATO Battlegroup Poland (BGPOL) formation is led by 2nd ‘Cougar’ Squadron of the US 2nd Cavalry Regiment (the Second Dragoons) with A ‘The Empire’ Squadron of Britain’s Light Dragoons operating under US command as Mustang Troop 2/2 CAV. Romanian Military Police and Close Air Defence units are also attached to BGPOL.
