The Magazine Floor Plate Glass Breaker

In his firearms column in the February issue (on sale 12th January), Greg Roberts concludes by testing the Magazine Floor Plate Glass Breaker from DPM Systems. They have manufactured a new innovative product for tactical and rescue purposes by designing a pistol magazine baseplate to include a carbide tip, with the purpose of being placed on the magazine to enable it to be also used as a tool for breaking vehicle safety glass and the like. When the pistol contains a magazine with the DPM base plate with the incorporated carbide tip, the pistol itself can also be used as a hammer-like tool to break toughened glass without disrupting the normal functioning of the pistol.
